Electrical Safety Officer

We are currently seeking a qualified, experienced Electrical Safety Officer to join our team.

Experience /familiar working on one of these scopes in Substation / OHL/ Cable works/ Lifting activities/ Exacavation, Testing

Must know TAQA 12 Essential Safety Rules

Familiar with LOTO PROCEDURES

Good knowledge of the Health and Safety fields

Writing and reporting

Strongly familiar with Accident investigation and risk assessment

Holding NEBOSH IGC CERTIFICATE MANDATORY

Holding any ISO lead auditor (advantage)

Years of experience 3-years

Valid UAE driving licenses.

Familiar with ADOSH or has completed the training.

Any previous approvals (TAQA Distribution, DEWA, FEWA, TAQA, ADNOC Advantage)

Certifications: Preferred to have higher certification (but not mandatory)

Diploma, Bachelor, or equivalent certifications.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and site regulations.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and legal requirements.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits.
• Identify hazards, report unsafe conditions, and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Assist in incident investigations, reporting, and recommending preventive measures.
• Provide safety training and toolbox talks to site workers and staff.
• Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and safety records.
• Ensure the availability and proper use of PPE and safety equipment
• Must be familiar with ADOSH CODE OF PRACTICES
