Electrical Site Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrical Site Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering, specifically in a site-based role. This position requires expertise in managing and supervising electrical installations and ensuring all work complies with safety standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and oversee electrical installation activities on-site, ensuring adherence to drawings, specifications, and local regulations.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project managers to ensure timely and quality execution of electrical works.
• Ensure electrical systems are properly tested, inspected, and commissioned before handover.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure electrical installations meet the required standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during installation and testing.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and report progress to senior engineers and project management teams.
• Ensure all electrical works are performed in a safe manner, following health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Electrical Site Engineer.
• Proven experience in electrical installations and site management, preferably in Qatar or other Gulf countries.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, standards, and codes.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with other team members and stakeholders.
• Willingness to be stationed on-site and work in a hands-on role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects in the Gulf region.
• Knowledge of local regulations and safety standards in Qatar or the Gulf countries.
