Electrical Design Engineer (UPDA-certified)

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to fulfill a role focusing on electrical design and electrical schematics.

Core Responsibilities:

• Working in coordination with other team members
• Maintaining electrical cost database
• Performing calculations of various profitability solutions
• Negotiating with the suppliers and vendors
• Reviewing the plan to estimate the length of electrical wire Identifying the cost and time constraints
• Design electrical schematic according to IEC specifications and standards.
• Create Electrical Schematic & Connection Diagrams using AutoCAD.
• Review technical specifications (BOM) from clients to develop proposals.
• Collaborate with contractors and consultants for technical clarifications and final drawing approvals.
• Prepare a comprehensive technical database for the drawings.
• Ensure compliance with local authorities' standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• UPDA Certified Engineer
• 8-10 years of experience in electrical design (contractor background)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP or similar software and familiarity with electrical design principles
• Strong understanding of IEC standards and specifications
• Experience with USACE / US base projects are preferred
