Estimation Engineer – Electrical

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Preferable Qatar or GCC Experienced.
- Candidates should have 5 years of Experience in Oil and Gas.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.

Total Salary: Qar.5000/- (Basic- Qar.3500/-, Food - Qar.750/-, Other allowances - Qar.750/-) + Bachelor sharing Accommodation

Key Responsibilities:

- Review project drawings, specifications, and technical documents to understand scope of work.
- Prepare detailed and itemized estimates for electrical systems including LV, lighting, power distribution, earthing, fire alarm, BMS, and ELV systems.
- Conduct quantity take-offs from engineering drawings (manual or using software).
- Request and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations for materials and services.
- Analyze project risks, construction methodologies, and resources to determine cost implications.
- Develop and maintain a database of costs, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Collaborate with project teams including design, procurement, and project managers to ensure cost accuracy and compliance.
- Assist in value engineering and alternative cost-effective solutions.
- Participate in bid preparation and client presentations.
- Ensure estimates meet relevant standards and codes (e.g., NEC, IEC).
- Stay updated on market rates, material prices, and technological developments.
