Electrical Site Manager – HV Substations

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to lead the execution of high-voltage substation projects (380kV & 132kV) in Riyadh. The role involves overseeing site activities from installation through commissioning, ensuring full compliance with SEC standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all on-site activities for substation projects (installation & commissioning).
• Supervise installation of electrical equipment including:
• Transformers
• Circuit breakers
• GIS/AIS switchgear
• Protection & control systems
• Ensure compliance with SEC standards, project drawings, and safety regulations.
• Conduct site inspections, testing, and quality assurance checks.
• Coordinate with design teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Manage site documentation, progress reports, and technical records.
• Oversee commissioning activities including testing, validation, and energization.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation plans.

✅ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in HV substations (132kV / 380kV).
• Strong experience working on SEC (Saudi Electricity Company) projects.
• Solid background in both installation and commissioning phases.
• Proven experience managing site teams and subcontractors.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project
• Ability to review technical drawings (AutoCAD or equivalent)
• Experience with SCADA / Protection systems (e.g., SIPROTEC or similar is a plus)
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC and testing procedures

Soft Skills

• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication (client-facing role)
• High level of organization and problem-solving ability

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with major EPC contractors or OEMs in the energy sector
• Previous experience working with major clients in KSA

Pay: From ﷼17,000.00 per month
