Electrical Supervisor

Our client, a well-established engineering and facilities management service provider in Qatar, is currently seeking 2 experienced Electrical Supervisors to support an ongoing project in Duhail. The organization is known for delivering reliable, high-quality technical solutions while maintaining strong safety and operational standards.

Location: Duhail, Qatar
Employment Type: Contract – 2 Months (Extendable based on performance and project requirements)
Vacancies: 2 Positions
Salary: QAR 4000
Transportation Allowance: QAR 500
Total Package: QAR 4500
Working Hours: 8 hours/day + 1-hour break
Working Days: 6 days/week

Role Overview

The selected candidate – Electrical Supervisor – will be responsible for supervising and coordinating electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance works for a facilities management project based in Duhail. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on and supervisory experience in lighting systems, power distribution, substations, and building electrical systems, with the ability to manage site teams and coordinate effectively with engineers and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and local regulations.
• Lead and manage electrical technicians and subcontractors on site.
• Oversee lighting systems, including internal and external lighting installations.
• Supervise lighting control systems, including programming, testing, and commissioning.
• Manage, operate, and maintain Central Battery Systems (CBS).
• Supervise installation, testing, and troubleshooting of UPS systems.
• Supervise LV substations, including:
• LV Panels
• Transformers
• Capacitor Banks
• Oversee installation and testing of:
• Building Distribution Panels
• Control Panels
• Bus Ducts
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and site teams to ensure timely project execution.
• Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar electrical regulations, safety standards, and project quality requirements.
• Prepare daily site reports and assist with technical documentation as required.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical issues during installation and operational phases.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience as an Electrical Supervisor, preferably in site-based projects.
• Strong hands-on and supervisory experience in:
• Lighting & Lighting Control Systems
• Central Battery Systems
• UPS Systems
• External Lighting
• Substations (LV Panels, Transformers, Capacitor Banks)
• Building Panels, Control Panels, and Bus Ducts
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Good understanding of site safety practices and quality standards.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Candidates available immediately or on short notice will be preferred.
