Electrical Supervisor

Job Purpose / Objective

Oversee the work done by electricians on a job site. They are responsible for ensuring that all safety and compliance standards are met and to provide technical assistance when necessary.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

• Coordinate activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees.
• Evaluate and verify employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques.
• Identify staff development and training needs and ensure that training is obtained.
• Ensure proper labor relations and conditions of employment are maintained.
• Maintain records, prepare reports, and compose correspondence relative to the work.
• Requisition and/or purchase supplies, materials, and tools.
• Estimate cost of materials needed to accomplish tasks.
• Inspect and evaluate electrical equipment to ensure it operates efficiently and safely; determine whether equipment and new installations meet requirements of the National Electrical Code.
• Inspect buildings in order to determine electrical maintenance needs by visual observation, gauges, meters, and other test equipment.
• Study blueprints and schematics to plan the material and labor needed to accomplish tasks.
• Provide oversight of communication and network operations including testing, installation, and maintenance.
• Perform related work as assigned.
• Participate in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.
• Enrich patient experience with compassion, respect and dignity.
• Perform other applicable works and duties assigned within the realm of his knowledge, skills and abilities.

Requirements Education / Professional Qualification

• Education: High School Certificate or Diploma holder.
• Professional: Any discipline, preferably Electrical certifications.
• Certification: N/A

Experience

• At least 6 years of experience in the same field.
