The Electrical Supervisor manages and participates in the construction, installation, modification, maintenance, and repairs of electrical appliances, systems, facilities, and related electronic controls of varying design or complexity.
Electrical Supervisor Duties:

Supervises employees and participates in the construction, installation, modification, maintenance and repair of electrical appliances, systems, facilities, and related electronic controls and devices by interpreting blueprints, manufacturers’ specifications, and written and verbal instructions.

Makes schedules, assigns work, and trains employees.
- Motivates electricians to increase their productivity and meet work goals.
- Ensures the proper maintenance of equipment.
- Complies with electrical codes, adhering to safety regulations.
- Assists with electrical system installation, troubleshooting, and repairs as needed.
- Purchases supplies, ensures adequate inventory, plans budgets, prioritize purchases, prepares cost estimates by accounting for material cost and labor hours while documenting their purchases.
- Prepares purchases for Verification Department to make transactions.

Hosts interviews and evaluates employees on a regular basis, which includes write-ups and Performance Improvement Plans.

Takes care of weekend and after-hour emergencies.

Assists department in various tasks and or assignments.
Qualifications:

Must have your own tools and be a self-starter and be able to work on your own

Need a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

Must be ON TIME and DEPENDABLE

Minimum of 3 years’ experience/Project Management

Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints

Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines

Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
-
Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts.

- State electrician licensure or certification/ Two (2) Year of Journeyman’s experience

- Lift up to 50 pounds; be able to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices); carry ladders; work from heights, work in small crawl spaces.
