Electrical Supervisor (Maintenance)

The Electrical Technician is responsible for performing preventive and corrective electrical maintenance to ensure smooth and reliable operation of food manufacturing and packaging machinery.

Location: Mancheswar, Bhubaneswar

Responsibilities:

Electrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance on
• Food processing lines (mixers, extruders, fryers, ovens, roasters, grinders).
• Packaging machines (HFFS, VFFS, multi-head weighs, flow wrap, labeling).
• Utility equipment (motors, pumps, blowers, compressors, conveyors).
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults involving motors, VFDs, contactors, relays, proximity sensors, solenoid valves, and control circuits.
• Support troubleshooting of PLC, HMI, SCADA–based equipment.
• Assist in calibration of sensors (temperature, pressure, level, flow, moisture) used in food processing.
• Inspect, repair, and maintain control panels, MCC panels, DBs, and wiring systems.
• Ensure proper cable routing, gland fitting, and earthing practices.
• Assist in installation, wiring, and commissioning of new machines and electrical equipment.
• Read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics accurately.
• Record breakdowns, maintenance work done, and spare parts used.
• Report recurring issues and support root cause analysis to reduce downtime.
• Update PM checklists and shift reports.

Qualification and Experience:

Experience

• 1–5 years’ experience in FMCG or food manufacturing (snacks, Namkeen, or similar).
• Hands-on experience with high-speed processing and packaging machinery is preferred.
• MUST be ITI/DIPLOMA in electrical
