Key Responsibilities
1. Design & Technical Documentation
-
Prepare and update ELV shop drawings, as-built drawings, schematics, and layouts.

Use
Edwards fire alarm software
for device programming, system configuration, and panel setup.

Assist in ELV design calculations, device placement, cable routing, and compliance checks.

Review project specifications, IFC drawings, and tender documents for ELV systems including:

Fire Alarm (Edwards)
-
CCTV & Security
-
Access Control
-
Structured Cabling/Data System
-
Public Address
-
IPTV/SMATV
-
BMS/Automation
2. Material & Procurement Support
-
Prepare material submittals, datasheets, BOQs, and compliance statements.
-
Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain technical offers.
-
Perform accurate quantity take-offs (QTO) and assist in procurement tracking.
3. Coordination & Communication
-
Prepare and follow up on Requests for Information (RFIs).
-
Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
-
Support design and coordination meetings related to ELV systems.
4. Standards & Compliance
-
Ensure ELV system designs comply with international standards (NFPA, BICSI, BS, IEC, etc.).

Support the preparation of testing & commissioning documents and handover files.
-
Perform technical reviews of vendor submissions for accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

1–3 years of experience
in ELV systems within construction/MEP projects.

Practical experience using
Edwards Fire Alarm Software
.

Strong knowledge of fire alarm, CCTV, access control, data cabling, and other ELV systems.
-
Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit is a plus.
-
Strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
-
Familiarity with MS Office and basic project documentation tools.
