Electrical Technician

Job Responsibilities:

• Inspect, repair, and maintain electrical parts of extrusion machines, injection molding machines, mixers, cutters, cooling systems, and compressors.
• Diagnose electrical faults and rectify issues quickly to reduce production stoppages.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical failures, including:
• Bearings, shafts, gears, couplings, belts, chains
• Hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, pumps, and valves
• Ensure proper functioning of motors, drives, PLCs, heaters, and control panels.
• Install electrical wiring, panels, and connections for new machines and equipment.
• Assist in commissioning new extrusion or molding machines.
• Preventive & Predictive Maintenance**
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance of electrical systems and machines.
• Maintain logs of repairs, breakdowns, and maintenance schedules.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and factory regulations.
• Report unsafe conditions and take corrective action.
• Provide technical assistance during machine setup and changeovers.
• Work with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
• Maintain records of electrical works, spares used, and maintenance activities.
• Suggest improvements for energy efficiency and machine reliability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,300.00 per month
