Job Purpose / Objective

Electrician is responsible to operate, repair and/or maintain all electrical equipment in a safe and continuous operational state.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

• Perform skilled electrical maintenance duties.
• Daily checking of lights in all corridors.
• Perform needed repairs of electrical equipment to the required standard.
• Carry out installation works to current regulations and be able to read and interpret electrical drawings.
• Carry out routine inspections, monitor and inspect all electrical equipment to the required standard.
• Report to supervisor any variations from normal operation state.
• Supervise and instruct subordinates within his realm of work.
• Work shifts as and when required.
• Work at all times in a safe manner within the scope of hospital policies and procedures.
• Participate in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.
• Enrich patient experience with compassion, respect and dignity.
• Perform other applicable works and duties assigned within the realm of his knowledge, skills and abilities.

Requirements Education / Professional Qualification

• Education: High School Certificate or Diploma holder.
• Professional: Any discipline, preferably Electrical certifications.
• Certification: N/A.

Experience

• At least 2 years' experience in the same field.
