Electrical Technician

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Electrical Technician with 4-5 years of experience in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems. The successful candidate will ensure the reliable and safe operation of electrical equipment across commercial or industrial facilities, while strictly following all safety regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, service, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
• Diagnose electrical faults quickly and implement effective corrective measures to reduce downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to keep systems operating efficiently.
• Interpret and work with technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.
• Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams to support facility operations and ongoing projects.
• Ensure all tasks comply with local electrical regulations, safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Maintain detailed documentation of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and electrical faults.
• Support the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and systems.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

• Diploma or ITI in Electrical or a related discipline preferred.
• Minimum 4–5 years of proven experience as an Electrical Technician or in a similar position.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, controls, and safety practices.
• Proficient in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Hands-on experience with electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
• Able to work independently as well as within a team environment.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and high attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Qatar’s electrical standards and safety regulations is an added advantage.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be locally available in Qatar with a valid visa and QID.
