Electrical Technician

Have an electrical technician vocational degree and certificates from a reputable university / institution

1.8.1.2 Able to read and understand schematic electrical drawings, plans, O&M Manuals, plc, drives knowledge, generators, motors, and engine troubleshooting.

1.8.1.3 Have minimum of 5 years work experience in maintaining equipment electrical system and components

1.8.1.4 Have extensive knowledge in troubleshooting / repairs of faulty electrical fixtures and system failures including lighting poles, circuit breaker, etc.

Have basic knowledge on PLC components troubleshooting.

Knowledgeable in preventive and corrective maintenance procedures and reporting.

Can work independently and with limited supervision.

Able to communicate (speak and write) in English

Responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance on all the low voltage electrical, control, motor drives systems (3 phase 480V power) and electrical fixtures installed inside the Port.

In exceptional cases, will be assigned to support some services and corrective maintenance works for the Medium Voltage. This will be in strict supervision of the Employer’s Electrical Engineer.

Will be assigned to support any troubleshooting or corrective repairs on all sensors, Modules, Drives, PLC, Generators, Engines

Perform any other tasks that will be assigned by the Employer’s Engineering Supervisor.
