Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment and plant machinery.
- Attend electrical faults in kilns, dryers, hydraulic presses, ball mills, conveyors, elevators, and glazing lines.
- Assist in wiring, termination, and testing of motors, sensors, limit switches, and safety devices.
- Monitor electrical loads and ensure proper power distribution.
- Assist in installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, SOPs, and plant safety rules.
- Maintain electrical maintenance logs and daily work reports.
- Coordinate with mechanical and production teams during shutdowns.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Good understanding of industrial electrical systems in ceramics plants.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Motors and motor control circuits
- Control panels and MCCs
- Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Knowledge of industrial electrical safety and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
