Electrical Technician

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial facilities.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical panels, wiring, lighting systems, and power distribution systems.
• Diagnose electrical faults using testing devices such as multimeters, insulation testers, and clamp meters.
• Install and service switchboards, DBs, circuit breakers, MCCBs, contactors, relays, and control panels.
• Ensure proper operation of LV systems, including lighting, power outlets, and emergency systems.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Carry out cable laying, termination, and testing as per project requirements and safety standards.
• Follow safety rules, company procedures, and local electrical codes at all times.
• Respond to electrical breakdowns and emergency maintenance calls promptly.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inspection reports, and job records.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other technicians to complete tasks efficiently and on time.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are kept clean and safe.
