Electrical Technician

Job Summary

The Electrical Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. The role ensures all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, technical diagrams, and specifications.
• Perform electrical installations for lighting, power systems, control panels, and low-voltage systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out corrective maintenance.
• Test electrical systems using appropriate tools such as multimeters and testing devices.
• Assist in installation and maintenance of ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, and structured cabling (if applicable).
• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and regulations.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
• Report faults, damages, and maintenance needs to supervisors.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in safe and clean condition.
• Follow company safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements

Education:

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification

Experience:

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an Electrical Technician
• UAE experience preferred

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
• Knowledge of safety standards and procedures
• Experience in commercial, industrial, or construction projects preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
