The Electrical Technician performs operational maintenance of technical facilities, plants & equipment through Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for MCC and other electrical panels, motors, lighting, power distribution, and other such operations, Preventive and Corrective maintenance works at site.
- Carries out modification or new installations of electrical installations as directed.
- Recommends purchase of critical spare parts and consumables in a timely manner.
- Delivers high quality, prompt and courteous facility management service to guests, co-workers.
- Reports accurately and timely to Supervisor about work completion or issues identified.
- Supervises Contractors on site and ensures that the quality of work performed is of the highest levels.
Requirements:
- ITI certificate in Electrical
- Must be able to understand electrical panel drawings
- Good knowledge of electrical systems and standards, can manage technical issues in electrical systems.
- Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation
- Able to carry out in-house renovation work involving conduits and cabling, fixing of switches and accessories, light fixtures installation, PPM of switchboards and motors, troubleshooting of common industrial and domestic appliances
- Can receive CMMS work orders, and close them out upon work completion
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in GCC
- Should have worked on large commercial buildings.
- Technical knowledge of basic computer systems & MS Office.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
