Electrical Technician – Gas Turbines (TM2500 / LM2500 / LM6000)

The Opportunity

We are looking for skilled Electrical Technicians to join a major power generation project in Utah. You will play a key role in maintaining and supporting gas turbine generator systems within a fast-moving, high-demand environment.

This position is ideal for technicians experienced in turbine electrical systems and controls, particularly within temporary or modular power setups.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems on gas turbine units
• Work on TM2500 (preferred), LM2500 or LM6000 platforms
• Support commissioning, synchronisation, and start-up activities
• Diagnose faults across generators, switchgear, MCCs, and transformers
• Work with control systems and instrumentation (I&C)
• Perform loop checks, calibration, and testing
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and control diagrams
• Follow all electrical safety and LOTO procedures

Requirements

• Experience with gas turbine electrical systems:
• TM2500 preferred
• LM2500 or LM6000 acceptable
• Strong background in power generation or heavy industrial environments
• Knowledge of turbine control systems (e.g., GE systems preferred)
• Experience with high-voltage systems is advantageous
• Electrical qualification or apprenticeship
