Electrical Technician

Role: Auto Electrical Technician

Location: Crewe

Total working hours per week : 35 hours

JD: We are seeking skilled Automotive Electrical Technicians with experience in high-voltage (HV) vehicles. The role involves diagnosing electrical and system faults, running vehicle logs, interpreting electrical schematics, and performing ECU and vehicle flashing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Run and analyse vehicle diagnostic logs to identify faults.
• Interpret and work with electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic faults in vehicles.
• Perform ECU and vehicle software flashing and updates.
• Work on high-voltage (HV) vehicle systems following safety protocols.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and validation activities.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician, preferably with EV/HV vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and diagnostics.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with ECU flashing and vehicle software tools.
• Understanding of HV safety procedures and components

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: £17.00-£18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
