Position Summary

Kodiak Labor Solutions is actively seeking a skilled BICSI Traveling Technician to support structured cabling and low-voltage installations across active project sites. This is a boots-on-the-ground, travel-heavy role ideal for technicians who thrive in dynamic environments and take pride in clean, high-quality installs. You’ll be part of a team driving critical infrastructure across commercial and data center projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic cabling systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project layouts
  • Perform cable routing, dressing, labeling, and documentation
  • Conduct testing using Fluke and other certification tools
  • Maintain compliance with BICSI and industry standards
  • Travel to various job sites and support project timelines
  • Collaborate with foremen, project managers, and other field teams

Required Qualifications

  • Active BICSI certification (Installer or Technician preferred)
  • 2+ years of structured cabling experience (commercial or data center)
  • Strong understanding of copper and fiber installations
  • Experience with testing and troubleshooting cabling systems
  • Ability to travel consistently for project needs
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

Project Details & Duration

  • Full-time, direct hire role with long-term project pipeline
  • Projects primarily across Oklahoma and surrounding regions
  • Consistent work with established crews and leadership
