Tasks and Responsibilities:
(1) Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on the electrical systems
of Chillers System, AHUs, Package Units, Split Units, and DX Split Systems.
(2) Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical faults in HVAC equipment and
associated electrical circuits.
(3) Test electrical systems using Megger, multimeter, clamp meter, and other diagnostic
instruments.
(4) Repair or replace defective motors, compressors electrical connections, contactors,
overload relays, circuit breakers, capacitors, control transformers, relays, timers,
terminal blocks, and electrical accessories.
(5) Inspect and maintain electrical control panels, MCC feeders, isolators, cable
terminations, and grounding systems.
(6) Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain HVAC electrical switchgear and Motor
Control Centers (MCCs), including circuit breakers, isolators, protection relays,
busbars, feeders, and associated control and power components, replacing defective
parts as required.
(7) Repair or replace damaged power and control cables, cable glands, lugs, and
electrical connections.
(8) Verify phase sequence, motor rotation, voltage, current, insulation resistance, and
equipment protection before returning equipment to service.
(9) Read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and control schematics for
troubleshooting and repair.
(10) Perform equipment start-up, operational testing, and functional verification after
maintenance activities.
Safety and Quality Responsibilities:
(1) Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely in accordance with electrical
safety procedures and MEW requirements.
(2) Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), maintain good housekeeping practices, and promptly report unsafe conditions, incidents, and near misses.
(3) Follow approved quality procedures by completing inspections, functional testing, and maintenance records to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and compliance with project quality requirements.
