Electrical Technician (Salalah Free Zone)

Salalah Free Zone (SFZ) is a government-owned industrial and logistics hub in Oman, established in 2006 by Royal Decree. It develops industrial and logistics investment zones in southern Oman.

Job Description:

1. Electrical Installation

Install and connect:

Electrical wiring

Motors, panels, and control systems

Lighting and power systems

Support new equipment installation in factories

2. Maintenance & Repair

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance

Diagnose faults in:

Electrical systems

Machinery and production equipment

Repair breakdowns quickly to avoid production downtime

3. Equipment Troubleshooting

Troubleshoot:

PLC systems (basic level in many jobs)

Control panels and circuits

Sensors and industrial instruments

Identify root causes of electrical failures

4. Testing & Inspection

Test electrical systems using tools (multimeter, etc.)

Inspect wiring and equipment for safety and performance

Ensure compliance with industrial standards

5. Safety & Compliance

Follow strict safety procedures (high-voltage environment)

Use PPE (helmet, gloves, insulated tools)

Ensure compliance with company and Oman regulations

6. Documentation

Record maintenance activities

Report faults and repairs

Assist in maintenance planning
