Electrical Testing & Commissioning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform condition assessment & diagnostic testing of electrical assets (motor,cable,transformer and switchgear)
• Execute testing & commissioning for substations and relay protection systems/numerical relays (Main and back up relays including scheme testing),
• End to end testing of feeder, transformer, busbar and line protection relays
• Pre and post energization checks
• Prepare technical reports and ensure compliance with safety & quality standards.
• Work across various UAE sites on diverse projects.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical testing, commissioning, and diagnostics.
• Skilled in transformer, switchgear, cable & motor testing.
• Hands-on experience in protection relay testing & commissioning of ABB/Siemens/Schneider/Areva/Alstom/GE/SEL etc.
• ADDC/TAQA/TRANSCO approval is required
• ADNOC WMS (Job Performer) experience is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving & communication skills.
