Job Title: Electrician

Job Summary:
An Electrician installs, maintains, and repairs electrical wiring, fixtures, control systems, and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. They ensure the safe, efficient functioning of electrical systems and compliance with safety codes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair wiring, outlets, fixtures, and electrical appliances.
• Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, sketches, and schematics for accurate installation and repair.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues, perform tests, and conduct inspections to diagnose faults.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Install electrical components such as circuit breakers, transformers, switches, lighting, and control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns and ensure reliability.
• Maintain records of work performed, materials used, and inspection reports.
• Collaborate with construction and maintenance teams for project completion.
• Supervise or train junior electricians, helpers, or apprentices when required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Electrical license or certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant electrical work experience (more preferred for advanced roles).
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, voltage, amperage, and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Good physical condition and manual dexterity to handle tools and electrical equipment safely.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
