Electrician

Job Summary:

The Electrician is responsible for installation, repair of electrical systems and equipment troubleshooting, and performing routine maintenance. This role ensures that electrical components operate efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime and extending the lifespan of the equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

Installation:

· Install and connect electrical wiring systems, including high-voltage and low-voltage systems, following blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical codes.

· Install and configure electrical panels, circuit breakers, and control boards, ensuring proper operation and adherence to safety standards.

Repair:

· Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues related to wiring and circuit boards using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.

· Repair or replace faulty wiring, circuit boards, and electrical components to restore functionality and ensure safe operation.

· Perform emergency repairs and corrective actions to address electrical faults and minimize system downtime.

Maintenance:

· Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical wiring systems and control panels to ensure optimal performance and safety.

· Test electrical systems, including circuit boards and wiring, to identify and address potential issues before they lead to failures.

· Clean and maintain electrical panels and wiring systems, replacing worn or damaged components as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification or degree in Electrical Technology or a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience as an electrician, preferably with experience in maintenance roles.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety practices.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and diagrams.
• Proficient in using electrical testing equipment and hand tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR2,000.00 - QAR2,200.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Doha: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)
