The Electrician will be responsible for performing electrical installation, maintenance, and repair works across various company projects, including design, construction, fit-out, and facility management operations. The role ensures all electrical systems are functioning efficiently, safely, and in compliance with Qatar’s electrical standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and diagnose faults to determine effective repair solutions.
- Perform preventive maintenance for electrical systems and equipment to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams for installation and maintenance tasks.
- Inspect electrical components such as transformers, circuit breakers, and switchboards to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Ensure all electrical work is completed within project deadlines and quality standards.
- Support construction and fit-out teams in executing electrical works as part of interior projects.
- Coordinate with other trades (mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.) to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work reports, and service documentation.
- Adhere strictly to safety procedures and company policies during all work activities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in electrical works within construction, fit-out, or facility management projects in Qatar or GCC.
- Strong knowledge of Qatar Electrical Code and safety regulations.
- Experience with low-voltage and high-voltage systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
- Familiar with testing tools and instruments for electrical maintenance.
- Valid Qatar ID and (preferably) transferable visa.
