Electrician

· Execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, intercom and other electrical systems

· Install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for fire alarm and other systems

· Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker, panels, distribution boards, ATS panels etc.).

· Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components

· Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them

· Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc.

· Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units

· Proven experience in reading, lay outing & executional planning of electrical layout plans.

· Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems.

· Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints

· Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines

· Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability

· Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts, overnight & out of city when needed.

· Proven track record for accomplishing construction work activities.

· Working knowledge of construction phases.

· Work task recognition and applying good judgment.

· Advanced knowledge of general construction, especially electrical/mechanical systems.

· Delegate work tasks to appropriate members of the workforce.

· Effectively utilize all construction tools, including technology in construction.

· Identify and mitigate personality conflicts on the worksite.

· Communicate to a diversified workforce.

· Listen to feedback given by managers on timelines and deliverables.

· Adjust to unforeseen variables.

· Maintain health & safety standards on & off site.

· Prepare daily, weekly & monthly progress reports with project execution up to date images for clients.

· Coordinate with the project coordinator/line manager to provide the needed supplies.

· Assist project coordinator/line manager in preparing schedules and ensure appropriate filing and paperwork.

· Assist in maintaining records of all data and project costs.

· Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements if necessary.

* Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician

* Construction Electrician related experience will be preferred.

Pay: Rs32,000.00 - Rs40,000.00 per month
