The Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures throughout the property. The role ensures all electrical operations comply with safety regulations and support the smooth functioning of hotel facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out corrective actions efficiently.
- Install wiring, lighting systems, circuits, and electrical fixtures as needed.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, codes, and regulations.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and guest room issues.
- Conduct preventive maintenance according to the schedule and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with the engineering team for major repairs or projects.
- Monitor and report electrical consumption, faults, or abnormalities.
- Ensure all tools, equipment, and work areas are kept clean and safe.
- Assist with energy-saving initiatives across the property.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in hospitality or facilities management.
- Valid electrical certification or trade license.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and manuals.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations.
- Physically fit and able to work in various environments.
