Position: Electrician
Experience: 2–5 years (Construction/Infrastructure projects preferred; experience in Solar EPC installation will be an added advantage)

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Electrician to work at our construction site. The candidate should be capable of understanding electrical drawings, performing wiring and installations as per standards, carrying out load calculations, preparing DPR inputs, and supporting site execution activities. Experience in solar EPC installation, panel mounting, stringing, and DC/AC connections will be considered an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
1. Electrical Installation & Wiring
Perform electrical wiring for buildings, equipment, lighting, and power distribution.
Install conduits, panels, switches, DBs, cable trays, earthing systems, etc.
Execute all electrical work as per approved drawings and safety standards.
2. Drawing Interpretation
Read and understand electrical layout drawings, SLDs, and schematic diagrams.
Execute work strictly as per drawings and instructions from the site engineer.
3. Load Calculations & Measurements
Carry out basic load calculations for circuits and equipment.
Measure cable lengths, circuit capacities, and material requirements.
Report discrepancies or technical issues to the site engineer.
4. Daily Progress Reporting (DPR) Support
Provide daily updates on work progress, manpower, and material usage.
Assist in preparation of DPRs with accurate data and measurements.
5. Testing & Quality Checks
Perform electrical continuity tests, insulation resistance tests, and panel checks.
Ensure proper termination and labeling of all cables.
Maintain quality workmanship and compliance with IS standards.
6. Solar EPC–Related Work (Advantage)
Support installation of solar modules, mounting structures, and cabling.
Assist in DC stringing, AC/DC termination, inverter wiring, and earthing.
Work with the solar engineering team to ensure proper commissioning support.
7. Safety & Compliance
Follow all electrical safety protocols and ensure safe work practices.
Use proper PPE and ensure safe handling of tools and equipment.
Report unsafe conditions immediately.
8. Coordination
Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and electrical teams for smooth execution.
Support supervisors/engineers during inspections and audits.
Skills & Qualifications
ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical (preferred).
Minimum 2 years of site experience in building or infrastructure projects.
Ability to read electrical drawings and perform wiring independently.
Knowledge of load calculations, material estimation, and testing tools.
Experience in Solar EPC installations is an added advantage.
Good communication and reporting skills.
