position: Electrical Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Engineer

1. Job Summary

Responsible for the electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC, VMC, HMC, and other precision machine tools to ensure minimum downtime and smooth production operations.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) of CNC/VMC machines as per schedule.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in control circuits, drives, motors, sensors, limit switches, and power circuits.
• Quick response to breakdowns to minimize machine downtime.
• Maintain and update maintenance logs.

B. CNC/VMC System Expertise

• Troubleshooting of:
• CNC controllers (Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Haas, etc.)
• Servo drives & servo motors
• Spindle drives / VFDs
• PLC systems
• I/O modules & feedback systems (encoders, resolvers)

C. Electrical Systems

• Inspect and repair control panels, wiring, relays, MCBs, contactors, SMPS, transformers.
• Knowledge of 3-phase power distribution, grounding/earthing, and industrial safety standards.
• Ensure safe operation of MCC panels and machine power circuits.

D. Documentation & Compliance

• Prepare calibration/maintenance records and service reports.
• Maintain spare parts inventory for electrical components.
• Ensure compliance with ISO/5S/industry safety regulations.

E. Continuous Improvement

• Suggest and implement improvements to reduce failures and enhance machine reliability.
• Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for major repairs and upgrades.

3. Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of CNC/VMC machine electrical systems.
• Hands-on experience with PLC fault diagnosis and basic ladder logic understanding.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Familiar with measurement tools: multimeter, clamp meter, megger, oscilloscope (optional).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure during breakdowns.

4. Qualifications

• Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics.
• Experience in CNC/VMC machine maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical safety standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,231.05 - ₹20,524.13 per month
