Job Overview

We are hiring an EWA Licensed Electrician to support installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of active and passive fire protection systems. The role is site-based and requires hands-on experience with fire alarm systems, fire pump controllers, emergency lighting, and related electrical works in compliance with NFPA standards and Civil Defense regulations.

Key Responsibilities Electrical & Fire Protection Systems

• Install, test, commission, and maintain electrical systems related to:
• Fire alarm and fire detection systems
• Fire pump panels and controllers
• Emergency and exit lighting systems
• Sprinkler system control panels
• Passive fire protection monitoring systems
• Carry out electrical cabling, conduit installation, trunking, termination, and panel wiring as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure timely rectification with minimal downtime.
• Assist in integrating fire systems with BMS and other low-current systems where required.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure all works comply with NFPA codes, Civil Defense, and EWA regulations.
• Follow site safety procedures and electrical safety standards at all times.
• Support inspections, testing, and authority approvals when required.

Qualifications & RequirementsMandatory

• Valid EWA Electrician License (non-negotiable).
• Diploma / ITI in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical experience, preferably in fire-fighting.

Technical Skills

• Strong ability to read and interpret:
• Electrical drawings
• Single-line diagrams
• System schematics
• Practical knowledge of fire alarm systems (e.g., Honeywell, Siemens, GST, or similar).
• Good understanding of fire system control panels and electrical troubleshooting.

Personal Attributes

• Able to work independently and as part of a site team.
• Physically fit for site-based work.
• Basic communication skills to coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and technicians.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: BD300.000 - BD400.000 per month
