We are currently developing a state-of-the-art polymer manufacturing plant in Sohar, designed to be one of the largest and most technologically advanced facilities in the region. Position Summary

The Electrician is responsible for safe and reliable electrical power supply within the plant, including switching operations, power distribution, installation of new equipment, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. The role ensures stable operation of electrical systems supporting production activities.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform switching operations to restore power supply promptly after voltage trips.
• Execute electrical power distribution for new production lines and equipment.
• Design and implement power distribution plans to ensure reasonable and efficient electrical layout.
• Ensure safe, stable, and high-quality electrical power supply.
• Perform timely maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical supply and distribution systems.
• Carry out other electrical tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Secondary vocational school education or above
• Major in electrical, power, or related fields
• Electrician Work License required
• More than 3 years of electrical installation or power distribution experience
• Knowledge of power systems and basic PLC understanding
• Skills in circuit and electrical line repair and maintenance
• Strong safety discipline, attention to detail, and effective execution

• Factory rules and regulations

Language Requirement

English Level: A2 (Basic Operational English)

• Ability to understand and use everyday expressions related to work tasks.
• Ability to communicate operational issues using simple words and phrases.
• Ability to read basic work instructions with the support of diagrams or visual aids.

Work Environment: Indoor power / plant utility areas

Work Schedule: Rotating shifts (3/2 system)
