Electrician

Perform maintenance, switching operations, installation, repair, replacement, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning on transformers, switches, power circuit breakers, metal-clad switchgear line-ups, manholes, cables, protective relays, metering circuits, control circuits, and other electrical equipment used in the distribution of electric power at the 5kV, 15kV, and 115kV voltage levels

Operates various components on the medium and high voltage distribution electrical system including isolation switches, interrupters, capacitor banks, transformers, voltage regulators

Installs, modifies,connects and repairs overhead and underground electrical distribution lines,insulators,grounding systems, fuses, poles, air switches and lighting arresters

Performs various electrical trade functions such as installation, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment (i.e., substations, switchboards, circuit breakers, transformers, poles and associated hardware), associated with electrical distribution system
