Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute installation and repair tasks.
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively to perform precise electrical work on low voltage and high voltage systems.
• Diagnose electrical issues using testing devices such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults quickly and accurately.
• Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and local safety regulations.
• Collaborate with construction teams during renovation or new construction projects to install electrical infrastructure seamlessly.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and safety inspections to ensure accountability and quality control.

Skills

• Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical installations.
• Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with low voltage wiring systems as well as high voltage power distribution.
• Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, and specialized electrical equipment safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of NEC standards, electrical codes, and safety protocols for construction sites and renovation projects.
• Experience working on construction sites with a focus on frame carpentry or general handyman tasks is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting skills using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; ability to interpret schematics accurately.
