ELECTRICIAN

An exciting Job Opportunity for an electrician has become available at ADS. The candidate will work on our smoke / natural ventilation systems and general duties will include: electrical wiring, containment, testing, 24v / 240v / 415v ac/dc systems and commissioning and demonstrating to clients. This full time position is site based (nationwide) and all engineers report to our Gateshead Office. Most projects are new build installation projects and some involve refurbishment work.

The candidate must...

- be a fully qualified and experienced electrician (18/19th edition)

- hold a valid CSCS / ECS / JIB card

- hold a current driver’s license

The ideal candidate will be expected to work to tight deadlines, liaise with project engineers on a regular basis, report to the contracts manager, and undertake detailed site surveys.

You must be prepared to travel throughout the UK with weekly and overnight stays. A current drivers Licence is essential and a company van and mobile phone would be provided. Experience of commissioning smoke / natural ventilation systems is beneficial but not essential. All necessary Training would be provided including - NVQ inspection and testing.

The role is full time. Salary is negotiable (depending upon experience), overtime and travel time is paid on top of annual salary.

Salary: £38,000.00-£45,000.00 per year

+ additional paid travel time.

+ additional overtime at x1.5 time and x2 time.

+ digs and subsistence paid upfront each week.

You may be required to undertake other duties from time to time as we may reasonably require.

You warrant that you are entitled to work in the UK without any additional approvals and will notify the Company immediately if you cease to be so entitled at any time during your employment with the Company.

You shall not work for anyone else while you are employed by the Company.
