Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team, working across a variety of domestic and commercial projects. This role involves installation, maintenance, inspection, and testing of electrical systems, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installations in both domestic and commercial environments
- Install containment systems (tray, trunking, conduit) and cable systems including SWA
- Perform maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on electrical systems
- Work on lighting, power distribution, and 3-phase systems
- Conduct inspection, testing, and certification in line with current regulations
- Interpret electrical drawings and specifications
- Ensure compliance with BS 7671 wiring regulations and health & safety standards
- Liaise professionally with clients, site managers, and team members
- Support smart home and business installations where required
Requirements
- Fully qualified Electrician (SVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- ECS/CSCS card (preferred/required depending on site)
- Experience in both domestic and commercial settings
- Strong knowledge of containment, wiring systems, and distribution boards
- Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
