Electrician

AAT Safety are a specialist Lifting and Safety Equipment Installation, Inspection, Repair and Maintenance Company, working within the Wind Industry throughout the UK and Ireland. Due to continued company growth, we require safety focused individuals to join our Projects team

Key Responsibilities

  • As an Electrician within AAT you will be responsible for the installation, inspection, repair and maintenance of a wide range of safety and work equipment within the wind industry. This will include a range of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment used in both lifting and access applications.
  • Travel frequently to different wind farm sites often spending nights away from home
  • Use climbing techniques to carry out work at height
  • Work with clients to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

What we're looking for

  • To be qualified to City and Guilds 2330/2360 level 2&3 (or equivalent) and NVQ level 3 and have a working knowledge
  • ECS Gold Card – 18th Edition
  • Excellent knowledge of wiring regulations and certification
  • Knowledge and interpretation of wiring schematic diagrams and fault finding
  • Knowledge and understanding of 3ph motor and control circuits
  • Experience with low and separated extra low voltage component systems
  • Flexibility to work away from home for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in the field
  • A safety-first mindset and ability to work as part of a team
  • Comfortable working at height and in varying weather conditions
  • Full UK driving license
  • Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical
