Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems and be adept at using both hand and power tools. This role involves working on various projects, ensuring all electrical installations and repairs are carried out efficiently and safely.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out installations and repairs.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues or hazards.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards during all work activities.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within specifications.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding project progress and any issues that arise.
Requirements
- Qualified Electrician with Level 3 City & Guilds (inc NVQ), 18th Edition and ideally a testing qualification
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work.
- Ability to read technical documents, such as blueprints or schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work are preferred but not mandatory.
- A commitment to safety practices in the workplace is essential
