Electrician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both industrial and commercial electrical work, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires proficiency with hand and power tools, as well as a solid understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
• Conduct electrical testing using an ammeter and ohmmeter to ensure systems are functioning correctly.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute installations accurately.
• Work with low voltage and high voltage systems as required.
• Collaborate with construction teams on-site to ensure electrical work aligns with project specifications.
• Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment on construction sites.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an electrician in both industrial and commercial settings.
• Familiarity with NEC regulations and safety standards.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
• Experience with low voltage and high voltage electrical systems.
• Strong skills in using hand tools, power tools, ammeters, and ohmmeters.
• Previous construction site experience is preferred.
• Ability to perform frame carpentry tasks is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
