Company Description

Energy Network Services are an electrical utility contractor in the southwest, and an Accredited Independent Connection Provider (ICP). We specialise in the design, construction, commissioning, maintenance and eventual end of life management of private and public distribution networks. We are currently looking for an experienced and ambitious Electrician to join our team. The role will require you to work on a range of projects across the South and further afield.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for Electricians across all levels, with the office base located in Wimborne and on-site working at a wide range of construction sites. The Electrician will be part of a team delivering electrical installations, maintenance, ensuring all work is carried out in full compliance with relevant safety standards, regulations, and project specifications.

The position requires a flexible approach which includes frequent travel time, and occasional overnight stays. A professional manner when engaging with clients and their representatives is essential, along with the ability to effectively manage workloads, time, and site activities. The role also requires close liaison with project managers to ensure successful project delivery.

Basic Competencies

· Self-motivated with a willingness to learn.

· 3 years experience working as a qualified electrician.

· Working knowledge of IET 2391 Inspection & Testing Procedures.

· A knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety regulations.

· Proven experience working independently and collaboratively

· Reliable and confident, with a strong commitment to teamwork and the delivery of high standards.

· Strong communication, time management and administrative skills.

Essentials

• Minimum of a level 3 qualification (Regulated Qualifications Framework) in an Electrical Engineering discipline or equivalent.
• Knowledge and understanding of current Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) at Level 3 (Regulated Qualifications Framework)
• Proven experience working on commercial and industrial projects, with a strong ability to meet challenging deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose faults and undertake repairs on electrical systems.

· An understanding of Principal Contractor responsibilities and commercial client care.

• Environmental Awareness
• ECS Gold Card Holder, including eligibility for renewal with applicable evidence.
• UK Driving Licence (Category B), including trailer towing entitlement in line with current DVLA regulations.
• Eligibility for UK Government Clearances (DBS / BPSS / SC)

Desirable

• EUSR Registration
• SSSTS Qualification
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365

Schedule:

• 48 Hour week – Door-to-Door
• Monday to Friday
• Occasional weekend overtime available

Pay: £35,000.00-£52,000.00 per year
