Electrician – Renewables (Heat Pumps, Solar, EV)

Location: Suffolk / Essex
Pay: £35,000 – £45,000 + overtime + progression

Greenwave Renewables is a fast-growing company installing air source heat pumps, solar PV, battery systems, and EV chargers across Suffolk and Essex.

We focus on:

• clean installs
• high performance systems
• doing things properly

We’re scaling quickly and need a solid electrician who wants to be part of a proper team.

The role

You’ll be working on a mix of:

• Heat pump electrical installs (full system wiring, controls, commissioning support)
• Solar PV & battery systems
• EV charger installations
• Fault finding, upgrades, and system improvements

You’ll work alongside plumbers, installers, and our technical team to deliver high-quality installs.

What we’re looking for

• Qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• 18th Edition
• Experience in domestic installs (essential)
• Renewable experience is a bonus (solar / heat pumps / EV), but not required
• Someone who takes pride in their work — neat, tidy, no shortcuts
• Good attitude, reliable, and easy to work with
