Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Electrician to join our team, bringing energy and expertise to a variety of electrical projects across cabins construction sites. Duties
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems on commercial and industrial sites using hand tools and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute wiring layouts and system configurations.
- Work with low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring all work adheres to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards for safety and compliance.
- Utilize testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues effectively.
- Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support automation processes within industrial environments.
- Collaborate with construction teams during renovation or new build projects to ensure seamless electrical integration.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspection reports, schematics updates, and compliance documentation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings; construction site experience is highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems including low voltage, high voltage, NEC standards, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation.
- Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, pliers), power tools (e.g., drills), ohmmeters, and other testing devices.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks.
- Ability to read technical schematics and construction drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with renovation projects and frame carpentry is a plus; handyman experience is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
