Electrician

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various settings, including industrial, commercial, and construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems using hand tools and power tools in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to accurately execute installation and repair tasks.
• Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and high voltage equipment to ensure proper operation and safety.
• Conduct routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent failures and extend equipment lifespan.
• Adhere to the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards while performing installations and repairs on construction sites or renovation projects.
• Use testing devices such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues accurately.
• Collaborate with construction teams, frame carpenters, and other tradespeople to coordinate project activities effectively.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and safety inspections conducted.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies to promote a safe working environment.

Experience

• Proven industrial electrician experience with a strong understanding of electrical systems in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Commercial electrician experience working on building wiring, lighting systems, or renovation projects.
• Hands-on experience with schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and troubleshooting electrical circuits.
• Familiarity with construction site procedures, safety protocols, and working at heights or in confined spaces.
• Skilled in using hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers as well as power tools like drills and saws.
• Experience working with low voltage wiring systems as well as high voltage power distribution.
• Knowledge of NEC regulations and standards for safe electrical installations.
• Ability to operate ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools for precise troubleshooting.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
