Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work safely and efficiently. The Electrician will play a vital part in ensuring the safety and functionality of electrical infrastructure within our organisation.
Duties
- Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using hand tools and power tools to identify faults and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety codes and operational standards.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to complete installations accurately.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and safety inspections.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organised to promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, as well as power tools like drills and saws.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance are preferred.

Pay: £28,884.09-£48,003.07 per year
