Electrician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various sites. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work safely and efficiently. Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with industry standards.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues promptly and effectively to minimise downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential problems before they escalate.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during installation and repair tasks.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and installations.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to complete projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrician
• . BS2391 inspection and testing
• Compex 7&8 or 1-4 ( not essential, with training provided to the successful candidate)
• Clean Driving licence
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Valid electrical licence or certification as recognised by local regulations is preferred.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy equipment when necessary. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality workmanship while maintaining a professional attitude at all times. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £18.38 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 42.5 per week
