Electrician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical experience and be capable of performing a variety of electrical tasks across different settings. Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial or industrial environments
• Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to guide installation and troubleshooting processes
• Conduct routine inspections to identify electrical faults or hazards and perform necessary repairs
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete electrical tasks
• Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations and standards
• Collaborate with other tradespeople or team members to complete projects on time and within scope
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and inspections carried out

Requirements

• Proven electrical experience with a solid understanding of electrical systems and components
• Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, etc., as well as power tools like drills and saws
• Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, or schematics accurately
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance (e.g., City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3) are preferred
• Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
• Strong attention to detail to ensure safety standards are met at all times
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments
• Valid UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential depending on the role requirements
