Overview
We are seeking a self employed electrician . The successful candidate will be responsible for installing containment and LV supplies. Candidates should have practical experience with hand tools and power tools, along with a solid background in electrical work.
Responsibilities
- Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in commercial, or industrial settings.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to complete installations accurately.
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Use hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and multimeters effectively.
- Operate power tools including drills, saws, and other specialised equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
- Practical knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in electrical work.
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance are preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure high-quality work standards.
- Commitment to health and safety regulations on-site at all times.

Contract length: 3 months
Pay: £28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 – 55 per week
