Electrician

Mercer Technologies is seeking a skilled and dependable Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, experience working with high voltage systems, and troubleshooting/control wiring experience.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
• Work safely with high voltage equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance and mechanical repairs as needed
• Travel overnight when required for project work and service calls

Qualifications:

• Previous electrician experience required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with controls, motors, and high voltage systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license in good standing required to qualify for company insurance policy
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Willingness to travel overnight on occasion
