Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various sites. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work safely and efficiently. The Electrician will play a vital part in ensuring all electrical operations meet safety standards and function optimally.
Duties
- Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using hand tools and power tools to diagnose faults accurately.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Repair or replace faulty wiring, switches, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to complete electrical projects on time and within budget.
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical codes and safety procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used for each project.
- Assist in planning electrical layouts for new installations or renovations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems and safety standards.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and multimeters.
- Experience working with power tools including drills, saws, and cable cutters.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations relevant to the UK.
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent are preferred.
- Valid UK driving licence is desirable but not essential. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects within a dynamic environment while ensuring high standards of safety and quality in every task undertaken.

Pay: £14.10-£26.55 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
